SYPAQ Systems Approved for Broad Area BVLOS 15 October 2026

SYPAQ Systems is pleased to have received Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) approval under the Broad Area BVLOS (BA-BVLOS) program.

This approval recognises the maturity of our flight operations and allows SYPAQ to independently authorise BVLOS activities across Australia. The outcome strengthens our ability to support customers with a fully self-reliant capability while accelerating the development, testing and sustainment of autonomous systems.

It also reflects the trust established with CASA through the safe and professional conduct of complex flight operations, and CASA’s commitment to a progressive, risk-based regulatory framework for proven operators.

A great achievement by the team and an important milestone in the continued growth of Australia’s sovereign autonomous systems capability.
