Project Management
Proven track record in managing large scale projects using proven methodologies i.e. Prince2, PMBOK, EVM
Project Schedulers
Proficient use of Open Plan Professional (OPP), MS Project
ILS
Logistics Analysis including LEA, FMECA, LORA, LCCA; development of system technical documentation and through life support products for developmental and modified systems and equipments
Information Technology
Proven capability in designing complex computer networks and information databases; data management, networking, engineering computer hardware, database and software design, as well as the management and administration of entire systems

Systems Engineers
We require experienced Defence systems engineers for sophisticated Defence systems integration projects.
SYPAQ is a successful professional services organisation specialising in project management, systems engineering and quality services. We provide our services across all industry sectors including Defence, Aerospace, IT, Telecommunications, Mining and Resources and Banking and Finance.
Due to the demand for our services in the Defence sector, we are now looking for tertiary qualified systems engineers with various levels of experience (preferably defence based) to join our professional team throughout Australia.
You will be working as part of a close-knit team utilising proven methodologies and sophisticated IT tools to specify, design, integrate, test and deploy various Defence systems.
Requirements:
- Current defence secuirty clearance.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications.
- Experience in MIL-STD Defence Systems Engineering methods and processes as defined in MIL-STD-499, EIA 632 and IEEE-1220.
- Experience in the complete Defence systems development lifecycle, including formal requirements reviews through to Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (F/PCA), sell-off and customer acceptance.
- Experience in requirements-driven systems engineering, including the use of requirements management tools such as DOORS and configuration management tools and formal change control mechanisms.
- Experience in preparation of Systems Engineering documentation in accordance with MIL-STD-498 and MIL-STD-499.
- Experience in systems integration projects involving complex electronic systems, including exposure to environmental issues and specialty engineering aspects such as EMI/EMC, HFE, ILS and System Safety.
- Experience in the development of Operational Concept Documentation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, particularly in preparing clear, unambiguous requirement specifications.
- Good liaison skills, possibly with some customer-facing experience.
- A remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience will be negotiated.
